We all know Anthony DiNozzo as a special agent of Major Case response team under NCIS.
But did you know that before joining the NCIS, he was a Peoria, Philadelphia, and Baltimore police officer?
I bet you didn’t know that!
But something we do know is that Tony uses his instincts to solve cases. We also know that he is the most notorious of the lot and is often considered a womanizer!
While I think he is pretty cute, I have to agree that he can be quite sexist in his behavior, which often irks his female colleagues.
Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony, admits that his character is goofy most of the times. But he also says that Tony has this capacity for keeping secrets. In fact, he manages to do the same so swiftly, that many are unable to guess that he knows something!
I guess, that works for him, more often than not!
We’ll get to know Tony much better, in the latest season 9 of the cult series, where we will go deeper into the character’s psyche.
Tony seems to be a sorted guy, and Weatherly himself puts it in a way, where he says that Tony is very compartmentalized, and that’s how he is able to protect himself.
Another interesting thing this season will be the fact that we will get to go into his childhood and get some idea as to why he is the way he is!
Also, to add to these revelations, we’ll have Tony’s father appearing on the show around the Christmas episodes, giving us some more insight into his son’s childhood.
It should be interesting to watch some of the drama happening between Tony and his surrogate father, Gibbs, who is in search of a mole. All this will bind the loose ends left in the last season.
The latest season has loads of surprises and will go deep into the skin of some characters of the NCIS team. One can see all the action online as well!
So what are you waiting for? Get connected right now!
